Lashing is the rope work used to tie larger camp gadgets such as tables, flag poles, wash stands, brooms, drying racks, camp gates, etc. The box has a few small pieces doweling to practice and some rope. There is enough appropriate size deadfall at camp to collect. Currently each Group should bring their own rope, 1/8 to 1/4 inch such as hemp (non-synthetic to avoid slipping ).
