This event is designed to give Cubs a fun, memorable weekend while making it easy for leaders to run.


Cuboree Activity Descriptions

Green Arrow Archery/ Wonder Woman Scout Craft:
Youth will learn how to use a bow like super hero Green Arrow and learn how to tie knots and attempt to build a few scout crafts in the time allotted.
Location: Outdoor Range

Superman escaped villain scavenger hunt and hike:
Youth will have to keep an ever vigilant eye out on a hike around Samac for villains that have escaped from Belle Reve and Arkham Asylum. 
Location: Gateway, south end of Activity Field B (Camporee trail to Baden Powell Traillook for the gateway, “CAMP SAMAC FOR SCOUTS”

Batman detective skills:
Youth will learn how to develop a few basic detective skills. Identifying local flora and fauna, finger printing, observational skills (Kim’s games) and problem solving (word puzzles and riddles).  
Location: Activity Field B

Watch Tower Verification and superhero names/powers:
Youth will register their super hero identities with the Justice League at the Hall of Heros. They will design their superhero costumes and make a mask to hide their secret identities.

Flash & Green Lantern’s obstacle course:
Youth will have their speed and concentration put to the test at this obstacle course:
Knee ball drop, Plastic Throwing axe, Bolo throw (Ladder ball), Egg walk, Soccer dribble.
Youth will get to run the course on their own and as a relay. 
Location: Council Hall or surrounding area

Six morning and afternoon stations will be set up lead by our program team. Groups A through F will rotate through each.

Friday

5:00pm Groups arrive and setup
6:30pm All vehicles to parking lot
7:00pm Youth arrive
7:30pm Offer of Service Meeting at Council Hall
9:30pm Friendship fire in Beaver Meadow (weather dependent)
10:15pm Lights out for all youth
10:30pm All Scouters meeting at Council Hall (1 Scouter per Group)

Saturday

7:00am Breakfast
8:40am Opening
9:00am Activities start
12:00pm–1:30pm Lunch
2:10pm Activities start back up
6:00pm Dinner
8:30pm Formal Campfire in Beaver Meadow
9:30pm Movie in Council Hall (weather dependent)
10:30pm All Scouters meeting Council Hall
11:00pm Lights out

Meal Plan $30/participant

Our 2026 food services team is working on enhancements to last year’s meals. Consideration will be made to accommodate Halal and Vegetarian diets with substitutions and alternatives. If you have a fussy eater, the team will do their best to accommodate.

Friday Mug‑up will feature hot chocolate, Bear Paw cookies, and seasonal fruit. Saturday Breakfast pancakes and sausages, fruit, a coffee station, and a juice and water station, (Alternative, cereal with milk.) 
Saturday Morning Break Station offers grab‑and‑go nut‑free granola bars, a water‑filling station, Go Juice, coffee, and similar refreshments.
Saturday Lunch Two hot dogs per person with an alternate veggie dog option, chips, veggie sticks with dip, and something sweet to finish, beverage station all day.
Saturday Afternoon Break Station provides nut‑free squares, a selection of fresh fruit, a water station, go-juice, and coffee.
Saturday Dinner Pasta with plenty of meatballs, red and butter sauces, parmesan cheese, Caesar salad, bread rolls, and cake.
Saturday Mug‑up includes hot chocolate and nut‑free muffins or cake loaf.
Sunday Breakfast offers egg and cheese McMuffins, fruit, and juice boxes, (Alternative, cereal with milk.)

Time slots eating times chart. We encourage you to eat at your campsites, but you can also eat in Council Hall Annex. Washing stations will be set up outside Council Hall.
