Jun 12-13 – Badge Trading Day at Camp Samac, For those that would like to swap badges, Friday 4-9, Saturday 9-2, we will be hosting the event at the new Museum, parking entrance 275 Conlin Rd E Oshawa. This is a great time to reconnect and visit our museum. Link to bookings for Cabins or Camping.
June 27 – Camp Samac Pool Open public swim afternoons and evening to Labour Day. (Opening date subject to weather.)
Jun 27 – Canoe Coaching Clinic for Scouters, Lake Samac, limited to 8 participants, $25 each open to Scouters and Rovers

Event Planning

Before moving forward as an approved Scouts Canada event, you do need to complete the necessary paperwork for a multi-group event please.

There are 3 steps that need to be completed:

Emergency Response Plan (attached – return completed to me)

When completing the ERP, you’ll notice that much information has been provided by Scouts Canada and cannot be edited. Items #3,4,7,8 do require your input. Also, all cells in the Risk Identification & Management Plan should be reviewed & edited specific to your event.

Financial Workbook (attached – return completed to me)

Budget tab must be completed/submitted immediately
Ledger, Group Registration, and OOS tabs to be completed upon event conclusion (income statement self-populates)
