What you need to know:
| WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: • Beaver and Cub youth can attend with their Scouters as a group, OR … Parents may register independently and attend with their children – IF THEIR GROUP IS NOT ATTENDING. Siblings over the age of 5 are also welcome. (A Hold Harmless form must be signed and include the names of all members of the family who are not registered with Scouts Canada. A Code of Conduct form is required to be signed by the parents). These forms will be included on the Registration link. Please print and bring them with you on the night of the event. • The evening will include a 30-minute hike with a Scavenger Hunt and a short campfire story. • A Tour Guide will take each group on the hike and after returning, the youth can enter the Haunted House inside Council Hall! There will also be games set up outside and behind the Council Hall building. The evening will take about one hour. • Start times will be allotted between 6:30 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. with groups going out every 15 minutes. Current start times which are still available are: 7:30, 7:45, 8:00 and 8:15. Please select your 3 preferred start times when you register online. You will receive an email with your confirmed start time. Please arrive at Council Hall (off Conlin Road) 15 minutes early to sign in and hand in paperwork. • Please dress appropriately for the weather. Costumes are optional but no face masks or toy weapons please. Flashlights are ok. • The cost is $8.00 per Beaver or Cub and siblings aged 5 and older. Each paying youth will receive a Halloween CREST and a Treat bag. Additional crests can be purchased for $4.00 each while quantities last. • If attending as a Group with sufficient Scouter-Youth ratio, a completed and approved AAF is required for this event.
