We are looking for 50-60 Scouts, Venturers and Cubs to come and help plant 300 trees.  These trees and shrubs are a good size as they are coming to us in 1- and 2-gallon pots. (So bigger holes) The planting will run from 10am until planting is done (about 12-1pm whichever comes first).  There is a short ceremony at 10am with our sponsors at the planting site.  Groups are invited back to the Program Cabin for to enjoy a Planting Group Picnic with your Scouting friends for fun.

 You are asked to bring: 

·      your own shovel, pail, pair of working gloves, (and a parent is welcome) 
·      dress for the weather with long pants and sturdy shoes
·      ALSO Bring your own bagged lunch and reusable water bottle –         

OPG is supplying snacks and drinks

We are also looking for a Scouter who is a shutter bug and would be willing to take photos of the event be mindful of faces showing for photo release.
